Re: Global Alliances players
from handsoff on 06/25/2021 12:13 AMStill looking for players. Don't worry, you can't get a computer virus from it. It's just a board game (granted probably the greatest board game ever created). HMU.

from botanifanatic on 06/11/2021 02:31 AMGood to be back
from kimmy911 on 05/26/2021 03:50 AMI'm sad my account couldn't get restored but I'm glad to be back. Not seeing a lot of my old friends on here yet, but I know the smart computer people at BlurtOut are doing their best. Working at a hospital has been really tough these last few months since we're so reliant on computers for almost everything we do. Had to go old school but we keep trying to save lives no matter what. I pray we never go through another attack like that one again.
Blackhole Destiny - Horizons of Infinity
from sillycone on 05/14/2021 03:59 AMThis is their best album since Engage the Overdrive. Love that Mueller is back on lead. His solo stuff was ok but he needs the band. And they need him. Can't wait for them to hit the road. Probably going to follow them again for their west coast leg. So stoked!!
Global Alliances players
from handsoff on 05/14/2021 02:28 AMRe: WTH just happened on Trial of Sovereigns?!?!
from dantheman on 05/12/2021 03:32 AMNo kidding. I had to watch a couple of times too. I'm pretty sure they're setting up a return for Ahlourus somehow but I haven't figured it out. They've been using too much deus ex machina this season. Ever since Hamlin left as showrunner the writing has gone down a bit. Still pretty good, but nothing like S1-3. HMU if you ever wanna get together in chat and discuss.
In Our Own Footprints
from shamansham on 05/12/2021 03:24 AMJust finished a wonderful book by Arnette Brewler. In Our Own Footprints explores the need to revisit egalitarian economic systems in a post-Industrial society. I know, I know, everyone thinks it's a bunch of Commie b.s. But Brewler does an excellent job at pointing out how automation and AI is going to level gender roles even more than they already have been and how we'll need to transition backwards before we can move forwards. It's a dense book, but her style makes for a fast read. 4-stars!!
